Each prompt in this set asks for hierarchy: a central subject, supporting panels or labels, deliberate empty space, and text that has a job to do. The five outputs below are real results already hosted on this blog. They show a consistent split between strong visual organization and unreliable small type.

Table of contents

What this test checked

The five prompt results

Parameters, runtime, and cost

When to choose HiDream I1 Full

What this test checked

The set was designed to separate composition from typography. A model can make a convincing poster while failing the exact copy inside it, so every prompt pairs a clear visual anchor with layout constraints. The tea poster tests a headline plus small product labels. The museum card tests a center object with callout zones. The courier scene tests annotations without losing cinematic mood. The train image tests wide framing with reserved caption areas. The bee graphic pushes the hardest: a dense two-column educational diagram with arrows, numbered steps, and tiny labels.

This is a focused review of HiDream I1 Full on Wiro, not a benchmark of factual accuracy or finished graphic design. The useful question is simpler: does the output give a designer a stable visual base, and which parts still need replacement in a graphics editor?

The project behind the model describes HiDream-I1 as an open-source image generation model; its official GitHub repository lists Full as the higher-step variant, while the HiDream-I1 technical report explains the sparse diffusion-transformer approach. Those sources provide model context, but the observations below come from the five images in this post.

Five structured-layout prompt tests

1. Tea Shop Poster: strongest overall hierarchy

Prompt: A boutique tea shop poster with a glass cup, three labeled flavor cards, warm paper texture, clean grid layout, and headline text reading Moon Tea Club at the top

The cup lands as the visual anchor and the headline occupies a plausible top band. The flavor cards read as cards, not stray decorations, and the warm paper treatment supports the boutique brief. This is the best example of the model understanding a simple editorial grid. It still does not deliver production-ready copy: the large headline is more legible than the small labels, but the lower text drifts into invented characters. Pick this approach for an art-direction mockup, social concept, or mood board. Do not use it as a final menu or price list without replacing all type.

2. Museum Exhibit Card: good zones, weak information fidelity

Prompt: A museum exhibit card layout with a fossil skull centered, side callout boxes, thin rules, small readable labels, off-white background, balanced infographic design

The fossil skull holds the center as requested. Side boxes, thin rules, and the off-white background establish the language of an exhibit panel. That matters because it leaves a designer clear places to insert real annotation later. The failure is exactly where the prompt is strictest: small readable labels. The blocks imply information but do not contain dependable information. Use this model when the deliverable needs a visual wireframe with a strong hero object. Use a layout tool, not generated pixels, for museum copy or scientific claims.

3. Cyberpunk Courier Poster: the best mood-to-layout balance

Prompt: A cyberpunk courier standing under a rain soaked neon awning, full body, reflective street, three floating UI labels pointing to jacket, bag, and scooter, editorial poster composition

This result gives up some diagram precision in exchange for atmosphere, and that is the right trade. The rain, neon reflections, full-body subject, and scooter create a readable editorial frame before the viewer notices the UI labels. The labels appear in the intended relationship to jacket, bag, and scooter, but their contents remain noisy. For pitch decks, cover concepts, game-world art, and campaign mood boards, this is a useful trade. For a product diagram where each callout must name a feature, it is not.

4. Desert Train Frame: strongest photographic result

Prompt: A cinematic desert train crossing at sunset, long wide horizon, dust plume, two small caption blocks in the lower corners, realistic lighting, movie poster framing

The train, horizon, dust plume, and sunset light make this the most convincing realism test. It also shows a practical lesson: asking for caption blocks can reserve visual space, but it cannot guarantee usable text inside that space. The lower corners behave more like compositional cues than finished labels. Choose this model for a poster where photography and framing carry the message, then add the copy separately. If exact typography is the main requirement, compare it with the layout-focused examples in GPT Image 1.5: 5 Prompts for Clean Layouts.

5. Honey Bee Infographic: a useful draft, not a finished infographic

Prompt: A two column infographic poster about honey bees with diagram arrows, numbered steps, tiny readable labels for hive, drone, worker, queen, and a clean scientific magazine style

This is the stress test. The two-column structure, arrows, contrast, and central bee subject make the intended format obvious. Yet the demand for several named roles, numbered steps, and tiny readable labels exceeds what the image can safely communicate. The output works as an art-direction reference for a designer rebuilding the graphic with verified copy. It should not be published as an educational graphic on its own. For another take on text handling, see Ovis Image 7B: 6 Text Rendering Prompts.

Parameters, runtime, and cost on Wiro

The model documentation exposes these defaults: 45 inference steps, guidance scale 5.0, Flow Shift 3.0, one sample, seed 0 for randomized output, and 1024 by 1024 pixels. It also accepts a negative prompt. The original five outputs preserve their prompts and media, but their historical task records are not attached to this post, so their exact seed and any non-default settings cannot be reconstructed honestly.

Wiro’s model documentation does not publish a fixed runtime or price for this configuration, and this update did not rerun the model because the post already contains five real hosted outputs. That means there is no defensible per-output runtime or cost number to report here. Runtime will vary with queue conditions and selected settings; cost should be checked in the run result or current Wiro interface before a production batch. A lower-step variant may fit fast iteration better; the related HiDream I1 Fast prompt tests show the different use case.

When to choose HiDream I1 Full

Choose HiDream I1 Full when the image needs deliberate placement, a clear subject, and a polished visual mood. It is particularly useful for poster directions, editorial concepts, cinematic campaign frames, and infographic drafts where a designer will rebuild the text. Write prompts with one primary subject, named regions, and a simple hierarchy. Avoid treating generated microcopy as verified copy.

Choose another tool or workflow when the job depends on exact words, small labels, tables, legal text, or factual diagram annotations. In those cases, generate the art, preserve the empty space, and compose the type separately. That division of labor is the clearest result from all five tests.

Run HiDream I1 Full on Wiro when composition matters more than pixel-perfect typography.

HiDream I1 Full structured layouts are a useful test because they ask a text-to-image model to do more than make an attractive…

[52
81
post-2682","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-model-reviews","tag-text-to-image
["GET
