## Overview HappyHorse 1.0 is a video generation model from Alibaba, available through Alibaba Cloud Model Studio. It turns a text prompt into a short video clip with smooth motion. It can also animate a single first-frame image into a video, which helps keep composition stable. You get an MP4 output that’s ready for editing, review, or posting. ## What you can build - Product teaser clips from a written scene description - Short social videos in landscape, portrait, or square formats - Storyboard motion tests before filming or 3D work starts - Image animation from a hero frame, poster, or key visual - Visual concept demos for ads, pitch decks, and prototypes ## Inputs - A video description in Chinese or English. Keep it within 2,500 characters to avoid truncation. - Optional first-frame image to switch from text-to-video to image-to-video. Use JPEG, JPG, PNG, BMP, or WEBP. - If you provide a first frame, make sure both width and height are at least 300 pixels. - Keep the first-frame aspect ratio between 1:2.5 and 2.5:1. - Keep the first-frame file size at or under 10 MB. - A clip duration selection (this listing supports 5, 10, or 15 seconds). - A resolution selection of 720p or 1080p. - For text-to-video, an aspect ratio selection: 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, or 3:4. - A watermark choice. When enabled, it places a “HappyHorse” mark in the lower-right corner. - Optional random seed as an integer from 0 to 2,147,483,647 to improve repeatability. ## Outputs - A single video clip as an MP4 file with H.264 encoding. - For image-to-video, Alibaba Cloud’s spec lists a 24 fps output. - A downloadable video link that expires after 24 hours, so save the file promptly. ## Limitations - The underlying service supports short clips only (3 to 15 seconds). This listing offers 5, 10, or 15 seconds. - Long prompts get truncated past 2,500 characters. - Image-to-video requires exactly one first-frame image, not a gallery. - Image-to-video inherits aspect ratio from the first frame. You can’t override it. - A fixed seed can’t guarantee identical video outputs across runs. - Low-quality first frames can hurt results. Watch for heavy compression, low detail, or near-minimum resolution. - Extreme crops or borderline aspect ratios can cause framing drift or odd motion. ## Safety & compliance - Follow Alibaba Cloud Model Studio terms when you use the model. - Don’t remove or alter proprietary notices and platform marks. - Don’t reverse engineer or resell the Model Studio service or its models. - Don’t use Model Studio or its outputs to train or build competing products, unless you have written permission. - You are responsible for rights and permissions for any images you upload. - Don’t use the model to fabricate or spread illegal or prohibited content. Add labels or marks to outputs if your local rules require it. - Alibaba Cloud states it doesn’t claim ownership of your outputs, but you must still follow laws and third-party rights.
