3D Text Animations
Turns a word or two of text into a short 3D title video. The letters become neon tubes on a wet street, gold foil balloons, cake decorations or one of 19 other scenes.
Overview
3D Text Animations needs nothing but a short caption and a choice of scene. The letters are rendered as physical objects in that scene, such as purple neon tubes reflected on a rain-soaked city street or pastel letters set on a frosted cake, and the clip is built around them.
What you can build
- "SALE" or "Hot Deals" teasers for product pages and ads
- Vertical intros for Reels and Shorts
- Square title cards for social feeds
- Birthday and greeting clips using the cake or gift box scenes
Inputs
- Caption: the text to animate. The field suggests one or two words, such as "SALE", "Welcome" or "50% Discount", and starts out filled with "New Arrival".
- Ratio: 9:16 (the default), 16:9 or 1:1.
- Effect type: one of 22 scenes, each previewed by a cover clip in the picker, with Bubblegum Letters preselected. Six, counting the balloon-like Bubblegum Letters, are balloon or inflatable styles, and three are neon signs. The rest build the letters from beach rocks, watermelon, candy or toy blocks, write them in gold script or hang them on shop tags, among other settings.
Outputs
A run produces a single clip with a generated sound track. The nine samples on this page have no audio; each is 1088 x 1920 and lasts about 5 seconds. Motion depends on the scene. In one sample, confetti falls past hanging tags in a clothing store while the camera pushes in. In another, watermelon letters drip juice as fruit splashes into a bowl underneath.
Recommended settings
Keep the caption to the suggested one or two words, and watch a scene's cover clip before choosing it, since the colors and letter style come from the scene.
Limitations
- Letters are generated as part of the scene and do not always hold their shape. In the envelope sample, the printed word turns into unreadable handwriting before the clip ends, and in the beach sample the pebbles never form a clear word.
- Typeface and color are part of each scene and cannot be changed on their own.
- The sound track is generated with the scene, and there is no setting to choose or mute it, so replace it afterwards if you need your own music or voice-over.
