Overview
Hair Style Effects with Caption is a haircut try-on built by Wiro. You give it one portrait, pick a cut and type a hair color, and it returns a short clip (plus a still, if you want one) of the same person wearing that cut. The "caption" is the color instruction, and nothing is printed on the video.
Both samples start from the default input, a chest-up portrait of a woman with long dark curls, and turn her hair blonde. One gives her a bob that ends at the jaw; the other, shoulder-length waves with wispy bangs. Her face, top and background match the source photo, and the clip adds blinking, a head tilt and a smile.

Inputs
- Portrait: one photo of a person, which is all any style needs.
- Hairstyle: 24 presets. Ten are men's cuts such as Low Taper Fade, Modern Pompadour and Buzz Cut. The other 14 run from Pixie Cut and French Bob to Wolf Cut, Long Layers and Beach Waves, which is preselected.
- Caption: the hair color in plain words, such as black, brown, blonde, red or gray. Blonde is pre-filled.
- Frame and length: vertical 9:16 unless you switch to 16:9 or 1:1; clips last 5 seconds unless you ask for 10. The 15-second option also returns a 10-second clip.
- Output type: video with image, video alone, or image alone.
Outputs
The clip, a still of the new look, or both, following the output type.
Limitations
- The color field is free text; its note suggests simple names, and the samples only show blonde.
- Each preset fixes the length, parting and texture. Color is the only part you describe in your own words.
