AI Polaroid Photo API
Puts two people from separate photos into one Polaroid-style flash snapshot and animates them with a chosen gesture, such as a hug or a high five. The animation runs on Wan 2.2.
Overview
AI Polaroid Photo takes two pictures, one person in each, and stages the pair in a single instant-camera shot. White curtains hang behind them, the light has the slight blur and hard flash of a photo taken in a dark room, and a white Polaroid border frames the picture. Wan 2.2 then animates the snapshot. Whatever gesture you pick, the two first glance at each other and then the action plays out.
What you can build
- A couples or best-friends feature that turns two profile pictures into one keepsake clip
- Photo-booth shots of two people who were never photographed together
- Anniversary or friendship-day posts with an instant-film look
Inputs
- Two images, required, with one person in each. Files or URLs both work, and phone HEIC photos are accepted along with JPG, PNG, WebP and GIF.
- A gesture from nine options: Smiling (the default), Kissing, Hugging, Handshaking, High Five, Adjust Hair (one person gently fixes the other's hair), Make Heart (each raises one hand and they join them into a heart), Victory Sign and Thumbs Up.
- An optional seed between 0 and 9,999,999, set to 42 unless you change it.
Outputs
A silent clip of about 5.6 seconds at 16 frames per second, in which the framed snapshot starts to move. The composed still is saved as a PNG next to the video.
Limitations
The curtain backdrop and flash lighting are the same for every gesture, and there is no prompt or style setting. Faces come from the uploads, but hair and outfits can change in the composed snapshot, and the poses and positions in the shared frame are newly generated.
Safety & compliance
Get consent from both people before pairing them in one picture, especially for the Kissing and Hugging gestures.
