Queer Editorial Effects
Restyles one portrait as an LGBTQ+ themed fashion shoot and animates it. The 38 looks include rainbow-flag Pride scenes and a long series of black-and-white studio editorials.
Overview
Queer Editorial Effects restyles the person in a portrait as the model in an LGBTQ+ themed photo shoot and animates the result into a short clip. All 38 preset previews use a male model, and the looks fall into three rough groups:
- Pride: seven presets carry Pride or Rainbow in the name, and their previews show rainbow flags, face paint, a medal, cakes and a slogan crop top.
- Monochrome: 17 presets start with Monochrome or Mono and are named after a garment or a pose, such as Suit, Mesh, Fur, Crouch or Turn. They are shot in black and white, mostly in a bare studio, with a bed and a beach among the exceptions.
- Styled editorials: for example a Western look with a black hat and a fringed vest, or an open dark suit on a wooden chair against a beige backdrop.
Movement is restrained: the model shifts position, tips a hat or moves an arm while the set and framing stay put.
What you can build
- Pride Month campaigns and profile content for LGBTQ+ communities, brands and events
- Lookbook-style fashion clips generated from a customer's selfie
- Editorial portraits for products that only need a still, using the image output
Inputs
Upload a photo of one person in JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC or GIF; every current preset uses a single portrait. After that you choose the look, an aspect ratio (9:16 by default, or 16:9 and 1:1), a length of 5 or 10 seconds, and what you want back. The 15-second option comes back as a 10-second clip for every look.
Outputs
Output Type has three settings. Video & Image (the default) returns the styled still and the animated MP4 together, Only Video drops the still, and Only Image drops the clip.
Limitations
Wardrobe, pose and set come from the preset, with no prompt field to change them.
Safety & compliance
Many looks show the subject shirtless or in a sheer top, and the Pride presets place them in LGBTQ+ imagery, so only use photos of people who have agreed to be shown this way.
