Overview
Built for horror content, Supernatural Presence Effect drops the person from a single portrait into one of 67 paranormal setups. Most presets belong to four families:
- Ghost apparitions: a figure in an upstairs hallway on a home security feed at 3AM, a ghost in an old wedding video
- Doppelgangers: a double at the front door, a late-night call from a copy of the subject who is already in the house
- Mirror glitches: a bathroom reflection that smirks, a gym mirror that holds the wrong pose, a car side mirror with something in it
- Liminal spaces: an endless yellow hallway, a mall after closing time, a drained swimming pool, a library with no end
Mixed in are gothic and fairytale scenes and a 1950s giant insect B-movie. A few are lighter, such as a shark photobombing a swimmer or a mosquito wrecking a silent meditation retreat.
What you can build
Use it for Halloween campaigns or a haunted-selfie feature in a camera app. The found-footage presets (CCTV, baby monitor, VHS news broadcast, midnight livestream) suit horror creators who already post in that style.
Inputs
Every preset uses exactly one portrait, and the uploader accepts a single JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP or HEIC file. For the photo itself, aim for a front-facing, well-lit face at 1024×1024 or more. Pick a mode, an aspect ratio and a length; the form opens on Standard, 9:16 and 5 seconds.
Outputs
Results are MP4 files with generated ambient sound and effects. Standard renders 720p and Pro 1080p, at 5, 10 or 15 seconds in 9:16, 16:9 or 1:1.
Recommended settings
Much of this set is dark or seen through a screen, and Pro's 1080p frame keeps more of the shadow and scanline texture, which shows on larger displays.
