Virtual Try-on
Dresses the person in one photo in up to two garments or accessories from other photos. Keep the original scene or restage it in a studio, indoor or outdoor setting, and get a still image, a short clip or both.
Overview
Virtual Try-On is a Wiro app that takes a photo of a person and one or two photos of clothing or accessories, and returns an image of that person wearing them. The items need not be worn in their photos: the samples use mannequin shots of a gown and a suit, and product shots of jewelry, a cap, sunglasses and shoes. Faces stay recognizable.
What you can build
- A try-on button on a product page, fed by the shopper's own photo
- Lookbook images of one model in many outfits, with no new shoot
- Pairings such as a cap with sunglasses, or a suit with shoes
Inputs
- Human image (required): one photo of the person.
- Garment images: one or two photos of clothes or accessories. Both image fields take JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF or HEIC.
- Photography style: keep the original scene (default), or restage it as studio, indoor lifestyle or outdoor location.
- Posture (advanced): auto, sitting, standing or side profile.
- Shot type (advanced): auto, headshot, medium shot or wide shot. A headshot leaves out footwear and a medium shot leaves out lower-body items.
- Output type: image and video (default), image only, or video only.
Outputs
A still image of the person wearing the items. Image and video adds a silent 5-second, 720p clip animated from it; the video option returns the clip alone.
Recommended settings
Keep the original scene when the background matters; in the samples, a pink wall and a stone wall carry over. Pick a wide shot whenever shoes, trousers or a full-length dress belong to the look. Set the posture when the stance matters: on auto, the suit sample turns a hands-in-pockets pose into a straight stance with hands clasped in front.
Limitations
The output frame can differ from the input: the first sample turns a landscape photo cut at the waist into a taller portrait showing more of the dress, still cropped mid-skirt, and two others come back square. A generated picture says nothing about whether a given size will fit.
Safety & compliance
Upload photos only of people who agreed to be shown in new clothing, and garment images you have the right to use.
