## Overview

Reference to Video C1 is a PixVerse video generation model that animates your reference images into a new clip. You provide 1–7 images plus a written prompt, and the model produces a short MP4 video. It's built for character and scene consistency, so key visual traits stay stable across frames. This helps you create repeatable shots without redrawing the same subject each time.

## What you can build

- Character-consistent action shots from a single character reference image

- Short cinematic cutaways that keep the same wardrobe, face, and art style

- Multi-character scenes by naming multiple references in one prompt

- Concept art animation tests for story beats, trailers, and pitch clips

## Inputs

- Up to 7 reference images that define the subject. Provide common image formats like JPG, PNG, or WEBP.

- A text prompt that tells the model what happens in the clip. Mention the reference image token shown in the UI (for example, use @ref1 followed by a space).

- A target clip duration you choose from the available options (5, 10, or 15 seconds).

- A quality level that sets output resolution (360p, 540p, 720p, or 1080p).

- An aspect ratio selection (16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3, 3:4, 3:2, 2:3, or 21:9).

- An optional seed value for repeatable outputs. Use 0 to randomize.

- An optional audio toggle to generate sound along with the video.

## Outputs

The model returns a generated video as an MP4 file. If you enable audio, the MP4 typically includes an audio track generated for the scene.

## Limitations

- Prompts are limited to 5000 characters.

- The model follows your references, but fine details can still drift across frames.

- Reference images with blur, compression artifacts, heavy text overlays, or cluttered backgrounds can reduce consistency.

- If your reference image framing doesn't match the chosen aspect ratio, the output may crop or reframe key content.

- Audio is generated. It may not match exact lyrics, dialogue words, or timing.

## Safety & compliance

PixVerse C1 runs with safety screening enabled by default. Some prompts or reference images may be blocked or produce altered results. Only upload content you have rights to use. Don't upload personal images of real people without clear consent. Avoid illegal, exploitative, or hateful content.
