Push Yourself Effects
Builds a short video from one portrait. The person faces their own double at an edge, such as a canyon, quarry or rooftop, gets pushed, and the camera follows the fall.
Overview
Push Yourself Effects takes one portrait and ends every scene with the subject going over an edge. Each preview opens with the subject face to face with a double of themselves, who shoves them backward, and the camera goes over with them.
The two share a face but usually not an outfit. In Frozen Divide a dark red fur coat and heeled boots stand opposite an olive parka and snow boots, and the double wears fur again at the quarry and on the roof. The locations:
- Desert Canyon: red rock above a dry valley
- Fallen Self: a sea cliff at dusk under the moon
- Frozen Divide: a glacier crevasse with blue ice walls
- Jungle Temple: stone ruins over a waterfall gorge
- Quarry Drop: the stepped terraces of an open-pit quarry
- Skyscraper Rooftop: a city roof at nightfall
- Volcanic Edge: a crater rim above glowing lava
- Waterfall Ridge: a ledge atop a big waterfall
What you can build
- "Me versus me" clips for short-video feeds.
- Visuals for posts about leaving a comfort zone, where the shove is the point.
Inputs
One human portrait, uploaded as JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, WEBP or HEIC, plus a scene (Desert Canyon by default). The frame starts at 9:16 and can switch to 16:9 or 1:1. Duration defaults to 15 seconds; 5 and 10 are the alternatives.
Outputs
Each run returns one MP4 in the frame you picked. The previews run 15 seconds with audio: a wide shot of the pair at the edge, the shove, then the fall, often framed close on the subject's face.
Recommended settings
- Every preview uses the defaults, 9:16 and 15 seconds. The tall frame suits a drop, so keep it unless your placement needs another shape.
Limitations
- All eight scenes run the same beats: standoff, shove, fall. Location and outfits are what change.
- There is no way to cast a different person as the double who pushes.
Safety & compliance
The clip shows the person in your portrait being pushed off a height by their own double, so get their agreement before you use their photo.
