Wildlife Documentary Effect Video Generator
Casts the person from one portrait as the observer in a nature-documentary clip, with 13 scenarios such as a fox hunting in snow, a cheetah chase and a hammerhead over a coral reef.
Overview
Wildlife Documentary Effect is a Wiro image-to-video app that casts the person from one portrait as the human in a nature film. Depending on the scenario they are a photographer with a long lens on a savanna lookout, a diver in dark water, or a field researcher taking notes on a jungle platform. The sample clips cut between wide landscape shots, animal close-ups and the observer.
Most of the 13 scenarios follow familiar wildlife filmmaking: a red fox diving into snow, a cheetah chase filmed from behind, a hammerhead shark passing over a coral reef, an eagle landing on a city rooftop. A few lean into mockumentary, such as an otter flying a biplane over a river valley or a goblin taking a selfie beside a griffin's nest.
What you can build
- A "star in your own nature documentary" feature for photo or social apps
- Travel or conservation campaign clips where the viewer appears in the footage
- Themed effect packs where the only thing a user supplies is a selfie
Inputs
- One portrait photo in JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC or GIF. A front-facing, well-lit face at 1024×1024 pixels or larger is recommended.
- A scenario preset.
- Video Mode: Standard (default) or Pro.
- Aspect ratio of 9:16 (default), 16:9 or 1:1.
- Length of 5 (default), 10 or 15 seconds.
Outputs
One MP4 with a sound track, at the chosen ratio and length. Standard renders at 720p and Pro at 1080p. The 12 samples on this page are 10-second vertical clips at 1080×1920.
Recommended settings
Pro's extra resolution shows most when fur, feathers or water fill the frame. On ratio, 9:16 fits Reels, TikTok and Shorts, and 16:9 fits YouTube.
Limitations
There is no text prompt: the scenario decides the animal, the location and the camera work, and each clip is built around the one person in the photo.
Safety & compliance
The clip keeps the real face from the portrait, so that person needs to have agreed to appear in it.
